Do you send appointment-reminder phone calls? Are they good?
Think of a really good appointment-reminder phone call you’ve received lately. What did you like about it? What worked? Chances are that it arrived at the right time and contained just the right amount of information.
It’s important to realize that the end goal of any appointment-reminder strategy is to reduce no shows so you can see more customers and increase your revenue. It should remind your customers that they need to come to their appointment. It should not remind them to cancel their appointment. It should arrive at the most effective time, such as the night before. It should not arrive too early or too late. It should contain complete and accurate information and not be too lengthy.
